As much as Todd wanted to head out and get going, he decieded that he should check on his parents; while trying to avoid his sister. He wanted to show them Trike, how great of a pokemon he already was and to show that he was in good hands well...paws in Trike's case. At the moment, Todd was debating on letting Trike free of his ball. Would they like him? Or would they try and flee? Being new to the world of pokemon in a way and a trainer, he didn't really know things that were obvious. Holding the pokeball in his hands, he glanced down to it and stared. So many thoughts ran through his young mind that it caused him to pause as he stared at the red and white capsule. "I wonder if you're even happy with the nickname I gave ya...." Todd muttered as he sat down on a rock. Maybe he should just open the pokeball and see for himself? But what if Trike was asleep? It wasn't nice to wake people or pokemon up when they were resting. i have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night. Faylinn was headed down the road towards ajuga. She had heard tell of a few beautiful pokemon on the frozen coast. So here she was, with Ursa in short tow, wearing matching red woolen scarves they were happily walking down the road.
The sky was clear and the sun shining but there really wasn't any heat about. As they went over one of the more hill like parts they spotted a boy sitting on a rock, staring at a pokeball. "HI THERE!" Faylinn shouted as they drew closer. |

Surprised by the voice, Todd looked up to see the older girl an he wave to her as she was still approaching.
"Hello." Todd greeted as he got off the rock.
It was always best to be polite an besides, she probably didn't mean to spook him. Still holing Trike's pokeball in his hands, he tried to have his thoughts leave his uncertainty at the moment. When she was closer, he gave a kind smile.
"How are you today Miss?" Todd asked.

Faylinn grinned as she neared the boy, Ursa her Teddiursa peeked around her leg, "I'm just swell today and you young man?" She stuck out a hand towards the boy. Throwing her hair over her shoulders it released the scent of Rawstberries. "I'm Faylinn, Who might you be? And why are you sitting on this here boulder and eyeing a pokeball like that?" She put her hands on her hips and mockingly cocked her head towards the boy. The grin never fading from her lips. |

"I'm....alright, Ma'am." Todd answered, when her hand was held out to him, he reached and shook it. "I'm Todd."
UPon her next question, well Todd glanced down at Trike's pokeball and then back up at Faylinn. He wasn't sure if he should trouble her with his silly little uncertainties though it was rude to lie.
"Well I'm just...unsure on a few things...if Trike will even like me." Todd answered. "I just got him today and was thinking on showing him to my parents but...I don't even know if he'd be really happy with me..."

Well she decided to make herself comfortable, she took out her pink blanket and threw it over the rock, she sat down and rummaged in her bag for her cocoa flask. She poured two cups of the sweet drink into pink travel mugs she had.
"Well you sure look like a good enough trainer." She beamed at him as she held out the cup of cocao to him. "And I'm sure you and trike, was it?, will get along swimmingly." She grinned some more as she took Ursa onto her lap. "This is Ursa, he came up to me in the forest the other day and we are already thick as theives, aren't we Ursa?" Ursa replied with a thumbs up and a huge toothy grin. |

A tad confused when she laid down a blanket over the rock, Todd just watched slightly curious. When the cup was offered to him, he shifted Trike's pokeball to his other hand and reached for the mug with another.
"Thank you." Todd said as he took a sip of the warm breverage. "I don't know on the me being a good trainer though...I hardly know a thing about it. I'm not trying to become anyone special I'm just trying to prove I can at least have a adventure."
Todd nodded when Faylinn asked if he had said Trike earlier. Seeing the Teddyursa and hearing how close they already were made the lad smile, though he still glanced at the pokeball in the other hand for a moment before looking back at her.
"That's good." Todd replied.

"So why are you out here in no man's land?" Faylinn asked as she crossed her legs on the rock and made herself comfortable. Propping Urss up and holding him like a stuffed bear, both of them eager to her the boy's story. "And while you're at it, why not let Trike out for some fresh air." Faylinn grinned as she took another gulp of warm cocoa |

"Mom's a coordinator too..." Todd said.
He didn't really know why he said that, it was just a thing that came out.
"I was heading back home, to see if my parents wanted to meet Trike. THough...still not sure on it." Todd answered. "I live in Ajuba, though I think I got turned around somewhere an lost."
Glancing down at the pokeball, Todd pushed the button in causing it to enlarge before bursting open. The electrike appeared on the ground an shook it's fur out before giving a glance about. Wondering just what was going on.

i have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night. Faylinn smiled at the pokemon that was now standing between her and Todd. "What a delightful pokemon!" She took out her pokedex and scanned it, "Mmmm Elektrike." She mused as she saw the information on the screen.
"Well i'm sure you two are already getting along well." She mused knowingly nodding filling the air with the scent of rawstberries.
"Speaking of Ajuga i was headed there, wanted to go and see what pokemon are there on the beaches." Faylinn took a gulp of cocoa as she nodded her head even more knowingly. "Maybe i should go with you?" |
