"Thanks." Todd said.
Trike gave a bark as it was given a compliment, not something it was used to but rather nice. Noticing the normal type in Faylinn's arms, the canine like pokemon tilted it's head as it stared at the Teddyursa curiously. Though his attention was removed rather earlier as a lovely scent of rawst berries hit the air. Causing Trike's nose to twitch curiously.
"Sure, I don't see nothing wrong with that." Todd answered. "I could get you to the beaches."
At least, he hoped he could.

i have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night. Trike seemed to be eyeing Ursa, so Faylinn put him on the floor. He immediately walked over to the dog pokemon and was making happy arm movements.
"Well guess we should go then." Faylinn said as she gulped down her remaining cocoa and quickly shoved everything back into her bag. Including the pink blanker. "Oh speaking of parents, let's call my mom quickly." Faylinn called her mother on her xtransceiver, most of the conversation was a rambling. "Here's my new friend. Todd. He's helping me to the beaches." Faylinn's mother smiled, her cropped black hair was striking today, she sweetly smiled at the boy, 'Well hello Todd, good luck on your adventure, and don't let faylinn drag you around too much. Bye for now dear.'
Faylinn was so happy, she grabbed todd by the arm and started off down the path. "Well i have managed to catch a few pokemon, though i think a water type would make a great addition to my team.' Faylinn gave Todd a very toothy grin. ❁

Trike made a sound to Ursa when they were done on the ground, the two starting their own conversation amongst each other. Todd took a drink of the hot chocolate he still hand. When Faylinn mentioned calling her own parents, Todd gave a small nod an was gonna keep out of it. That is until the girl pointed the screen at him so he could see her mother and thus she could see him.
"Hello and thanks." Todd said as he gave a wave to Faylinn's mother.
THough he was a tad confused by her words on don't let Faylinn drag him around. Did she mean that literally or in a different way? When she grabbed his arm though he figured it out and followed as he was sort of dragged. Trike followed after them.
"I've heard it's good to have a water type on your team." Todd agreed.

i have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night. Faylinn was grinning as they walked down the road, "Oh yeah i know." She nodded more, "Like imagine what it would look like if you combine Meditite's Psychic Prowess with Water and Fire?" She smiled as she imagined what a spectacle it would look like.
"I Should Show you my pokemon when we take a break, m'kay?" She looked down at the boy and started twirling her arms, Ursa in short stead behind her ❁

Todd tried to picture it though nothing really came to mind as he followed along. Despite his mother being a coordinator, he was having no luck envisioning what Faylinn suggested to him. So the lad hoped she wouldn't noticed his confused expression and the fact he didn't answer.
"Sure." Todd answered. "So...what are you hoping to find once we get there?"

i have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night. And so they set off down the path, Faylinn and her newly found friend. She skipped a little as she thought what pokemon might live by the sea side. "Well Anything really. Want to see waht's on the shore line." Faylinn beamed as she went. "What kind of pokemon do you have?" She looked down at the boy and his Elektrike, "Just him so far?" ❁

"Yeah, just him. I haven't gone out to any of the routes or anything like that to try an get more pokemon." Todd answered. "What about you? I know you said you'd show me but there's no harm in just asking the types. Since lots of pokemon can share the same types."
That was true plus there was many types that Todd didn't know what went with what. So he wouldn't be able to guess anyway.
