Parking Spot {MOD/TRAINING}

Off they went, Quartz had stuffed her face with two Oran berries and seemed to be in good spirits again. "Well we seem to be getting closer." Faylinn commented as there were throngs of trainers here closer to the center of the park. A Rattata jumped out in front of Faylinn and Quartz, challending quartz to a battle.

"Well Quartz you wanted to fight, here we go." She smiled down at her pokemon, the Rattata came in for a tail whip, "Quickly use Stun Spore." Quartz shook her head and black powder stuck to the Rattata, She paused for a moment, being momentarily paralyzed, "Use a tackle attack!" The small pokemon rushed at rattata and struck it full force. Making the pokemon slip and slide off of the path and away from them. "Good job Quartz." Faylinn smiled as she held the egg tighter.

The rattata had not even been gone for more than a minute when a strange looking man, well strange because only a crazy person would wear shorts in this weather, came running over.

"WOW YOUR SCATTERBUG LOOKS SO COOL!."

Faylinn stood frozen in place for far too long the man knelt down and started inspecting quartz,

'Let's battle so i can see her in action.'

Faylinn smiled at him, well she is a pretty tough cookie, you better be ready for this!" Faylinn nodded at Quartz who jumped infront of her, the bug catcher sent out his own Sewaddle, the bug pokemon squaring off, "Use tackle!" Both trainers yelled in unison the pokemon rushed towards each other and then when they connected a spray of snow was kicked into the air, when it settled Quartz was visibly a lot better off than the Sewaddle.

'Use string shot.'

"You do the same Quartz, and then use Stun Spore!" Quartz dodged the string shot and sprayed a lot of string all over Sewaddle, the pokemon was stuck, then a cloud of Stun Spore was released from Quartz, "Finish it off with a tackle!" Quartz struck the trapped and stunned sewaddle sending it flying to its trainer. "That good enough for you?"

'Would have been if i were in grade school.'

He took out another pokeball, a Cascoon was now on the ground in front of Quartz.

'Let's see how long she lasts in the endurance round. Use harden Cascoon.' 

The pokemon gleamedas it became harder and more dense."Use tackle!" Quartz ran at the pokemon, hitting it with a tackle attack, the damage dealt was not that great. 'Keep using harden Cascoon!' The cascoon alternated, after every tackle that Quartz gave it, it used a harden, making it more difficult to damage."Quartz use stun spore and then tackle." As the stun spore hit cascoon, it shed the outer layer of its caccoon, the dust falling to the ground around it. But without that extra layer of silk Quartz could finally deliver a critical hit. The cascoon fainted.

"Here Quartz you deserved it." She gave the pokemon 3 Sweethearts to get her energy up again."That was intense." Faylinn said grinning at the man.

So the man went on his way and Faylinn and Quartz carried on down the path. They were getting fairly close to the tree now, as they walked Quartz ran up ahead and came back with a small bag, it had been hiding in the snow, Faylinn opened it and to her surprise there were pokeballs in there. She scanned them with her pokedex, they were all empty, and something called love balls.

She shoved them into her bag still holding the egg in her arms. "Well guess we can't let these go to waste now can we." She smiled at Quartz as she carried on down the path.

From a distance Faylinn heard a voice calling to her, an old man and young woman came rushing over. Obviously related they asked if they could do a portrait of her, "Well i'm actually a little busy." Faylinn began but the girl cut her off.

"How about we battle and if we win you have to stay for a picture if not you can go."

Faylinn agreed, she took out Amethysts pokeball and threw it into the air.

The Two released an Azurill and a Surskit. This should be an easier battle Faylinn thought. "Use Stun spore on Azurill and Amethyst use Bide." Amethyst sat down and crossed her legs. She concentrated and started floating a little off the ground. "Surskit use Bubble and you too Azurill." The pokemon responded releasing a barrage of bubbles that struck amethyst, Quartz ran up to the Azurill and released a stun spore. "Quick now use Tackle Quartz." Quartz hit the Azurill and the attack was a critical hit. Making the azurill fall back and pass out. 

'Azurill return. Go Smeargle." A smeargle was sent out. "Use Stun spore again Quartz. Keep using bide Amethyst." Amethyst still glowing a faint purple was floating off to the side, having been hit by a few more bubbles from the Surskit.

'Use Sketch!' Using sketch the Smeargle learned the move that Amethyst was using, having Bide now. it also sat and crossed it's legs.

"Use tackle Quartz!" Quartz struck the Smeargle with a tackle attack just as Amethyst released all of the pent up energy she had been storing at the Smergle. It fainted instantly. "Go Smeargle' This time a shiny smeargle came to the front. 'Quartz use tackle on the Surskit." Amethyst use Meditate."

The pokemon responded quickly. Quartz managed to knock the surskit out as the Smeargle sketched the tackle attack. "Now use Confusion Amethyst and Quartz use Stun Spore." Acting as one the pokemon dusted the entire smeargle in a fine layer of stunning powder so much so that the pokemon could not move. "Now use tackle and confusion you two!" The pokemon attacked, knocking the Smeargle out too. "That was a great battle!!!"

Faylinn was exstatic.
