The air was cold, but Bellamy was on fire. (And it wasn't just because he was enjoying his second cup of coffee that day.) He was invigorated by the relationship and bond he was forging with his newly attained Munna. The Pokemon was currently out of her Pokeball, enjoying floating beside her trainer. She seemed unbothered by the cold. "Well, Munna, here we are. Calitha Town is just the first stop of many, many more." The psychic Pokemon let out a relaxed squeal, happy to be right where she was.
The town was more alive with life now. People were out and about, walking up and down the avenues and making it to their destinations. Some children were playing in the shallow snow nearby where Bellamy was walking with a Pokemon of their own that he didn't pay much attention to. He had just walked by them when one of the little girls formed a snowball in her hand and tossed it, hitting the Delibird the children were playing with square in the face. The Pokemon retaliated, reaching into its sack and pulling out a loaded box. It threw the box and the girl ducked so the package went flying, not stopping until it hit Jordan in his back, forcing him to drop his coffee on the ground.
"Ouch!" Bellamy spun around to face the children and their Delibird, who were all a little afraid of what was going to happen next. The older trainer couldn't hide his frustration. "Why don't you kids watch it, huh?" he said aggressively, causing the youngsters to move it along to avoid getting in more trouble. After they'd left, he looked down and noticed what had hit him. He crouched down to open the small box, finding several items inside, among them two minimized Pokeballs. He looked around, wondering what this meant.
Had he just obtained two more Pokemon?

Sven was on his way back to his Daycare from getting his first Pokemon, his eyes glued to the little blue Penguin creature that followed along beside him. Of course, he'd had to slow his pace to a snail's crawl for the Piplup, thusly nicknamed Grayson, to keep up without tripping... He didn't mind, though. He already adored the little guy, as clumsy as he was. Glancing ahead of himself, he noticed a group of children with a Delibird scurrying their direction. Realizing the impending danger, the pink-haired male quickly ducked down to lift his Piplup from the ground and out of the small group' s path. "--Careful!" He huffed after the children, then frowning down towards his Pokemon, looking over the little blue bird to make sure he wasn't hurt.
It was as he was obsessing over his new Pokemon's health that he heard the loud squawk of the Delibird, followed by something rather heavy knocking him in the back of the head. "Ah..!" Startled by the attack, Sven focused on keeping Grayson safe as he lost balance and fell to his knees in the snow. "--Ow..." He mumbled, rubbing at the back of his head as he turned to see what had hit him. The Delibird had already run off to catch up with the children, but in the snow lay a fallen gift box. Knowing that more often than not, Delibird gifts turned out to be bombs, Sven frowned, cautiously reaching for it after setting his Piplup down. Slowly lifting the top off of the box, he visibly relaxed as it didn't blow up in his face and peaked inside. Blinking a few times as he glanced inside, the breeder reached inside to retrieve the two spherical objects. Pokeballs..? It wouldn't be unusual for a Delibird to have found some empty Pokeballs laying around, but these obviously weren't empty. Had that Delibird just given him two more Pokemon? How did a Delibird even get these?!
His confusion only growing by the moment, Sven looked up to see that he wasn't the only one that the bird had played such a trick on. There was another man at a nearby table, looking into a similar box with a very similar expression. His curiosity temporarily overriding his lack of social skills, Sven stood, lifting the box, and walking over to the table. "...This may be a strange question, but... Did that Delibird just give you...?" He trailed off, holding up the two miniature Pokeballs in a gesture to finish his sentence.

The blonde-haired Bellamy had walked over to a park picnic table, setting the gift box on the bench and holding the place on his back where it had hit him. Munna hovered nearby, landing so gently on his shoulder that he wondered if she'd landed at all.
He had pocketed the other items almost immediately. It wasn't uncommon for Delibird to give out gifts like those. But a Pokeball containing a Pokemon -- let alone two of them -- was something he had never heard of before, even with all his years of schooling. "What in the world...?" he trailed off, unable to finish his own sentence because he didn't know what to make of this phenomenon. He was so preoccupied, in fact, that he was oblivious to the same scenario happening to a pink-haired fellow.
Picking up the two Pokeballs, Bellamy held them both in one hand. Transferring one ball to his empty hand, he pressed the little button on both spheres, enlarging them simultaneously. It was only then that he heard footsteps crunching in the snow getting louder and closer. He looked up, turning around to face the young man around his age who had just walked over to him. The strangers lips curled to ask what he called a "strange question" before his hands held up two Pokeballs. Bellamy looked down at the balls in his own hands. "Yeah, it did," he responded, unsure how to handle the news that not only did Delibird gift two Pokemon to someone, but that it had happened twice. "I've never even heard of such a thing," he started, "and I don't know whether this means these are mine to keep or not."
Munna yawned a sigh that sounded like she was ready for a trip back into her own Pokeball. Bellamy considered letting whatever Pokemon were held inside Delibird's gifts out, but he hesitated. The last thing he wanted to do was release some large, hostile Pokemon that he couldn't get to return to its holster. "Did the same thing happen to you?" Mr. Jordan was looking for confirmation that he wasn't alone in this thing.
The children and their Delibird were nowhere to be found, and all the people and noise that had existed before seemed to be gone too. It was effectively just Bellamy, Munna, the man and his Piplup now.
