[attr="class","beat_title"]01. HISTORY
[attr="class","beat_blurb"]As with most of my characters, I leave the history to be as vaque as possible. I've alluded to an after-school program in which Jay obtained two Pokemon.
[break][break]
However, these two were not his first. His starter Pokemon was a Weedle that was given to him by his father on his first day of high-school. During his sessions, that Weedle eventually evolved into a Beedrill and was given a proper nickname.
[break][break]
Hathus helped Jay obtain his next two Pokemon; a Poochyena and Honchkrow. They were not given names until Jay began traveling after graduating, wishing to pursue a career as a sailor while reluctantly aiding in his family business. The tension between himself and his father ultimately led to a divorce, though the first domino was the affair Jay's mother was having.
[break][break]
His new step-mother hailed from the Unova Region, and offered both Jay and her wife to visit their family in Lentimas Town. Along the way, via Chargestone Cave, Jay encountered a horde of Tynamo and managed to catch one. At this time, Jay's Mightyena and Honchkrow were given names; Wallia and Liuva.
[break][break]
Jay's absence pushed his father to work harder and eventually stalk his son, which put a strain on his mental health and led to his desire for Jahangir to take the family business more seriously. Jay was only 21 at this time, and the remaining years are expressed through a rebellion of a right and honorable sort.
[break][break]
Three generations of barrel-making via family is straining. Most, if not all, of the employees are part of Jay's family through blood or paper. Jay is his own person, and so he left for a new region to train his team and figure out what he wanted.
[break][break]
The Tynamo grew to become a terrifying Eelektross named Gelvira.
[break][break]
Years later, Jay's father is becoming obsessed with the family business reaching a tenth generation of workers. Jay is uninterested and tired of his words. As punishment, the quartet is left to man the estate and plant.
[break][break]
With regions of knowledge flowing through him, and a desire to explore the ocean, Jay has fled for Obstina.

[attr="class","beat_title"]02. SHIPMATES & FLEETS
[attr="class","beat_blurb"]To quickest way to become a pirate's friend is to buy him a pint. The quickest way to become a pirate's best friend is to buy him a tankard and sing an ole' song with him while getting faced at the same time.
[break][break]
Sadly, Jahangir is not part of Captain Bowen's crew, but a small drink never hurt anybody.
[break][break]
Becoming friends with Jahangir is quite as simple as "Hello." There's no downside to befriending a sailor, pirate, and barrel-maker. You've the ocean to talk about, tales to formulate, and things to learn. All one really needs is an interest in these three. That being said, Jahangir is really friendly, which is something I'm not really used to. He's not cryptic like my usual characters, but he is a talker.
[break][break]
Just say "hello."

[attr="class","beat_title"]03. THE SEA OR THE RING
[attr="class","beat_blurb"]I do not like this part of a plotter, because my characters suck.
[break][break]
Jahangir will not marry. He is not doing this because of his father, but because he fears commitment to another person. He fears the anxiety of having a family to care for, but does want a child. His confusion often led to a few flings with other women in the past, but none of them ever stuck. This is the pirate in him.
[break][break]
The sea was his calling on that fateful day. He fell for the sway and the curves of the ocean waves beneath a pale moon. He drank her up with his eyes and let the sirens summon a seal upon his heart. Still, a heart at sea beckons for someone waiting back home, but she has no name.
[break][break]
Yet.

[attr="class","beat_title"]04. UNDER THE MOON'S BRILLIANCE
[attr="class","beat_blurb"]Like the ocean, Jahangir is a storm if things are in disarray As a trainer, he understands the loss of a battle and the anger of a cheater in the game. As a pirate, he fears justice and the harsh reality of a world made by money for the sake of money.
[break][break]
As a human, Jahangir fears other humans. There are some who kill, and some who steal. They have reasons, but there are those who don't. If one were to wish themselves upon this list, it's best to find out.
