As they neared the tree Faye jumped out from the scarf and floated angrily, from behind the tree a sunkern jumped and seemed poised to attack. "Ah! Faye stop it!" The Sunkern braced itself, glowing a pale green as Faye released a barrage of vine whip attacks. Striking the pokemon a couple of times. It seemed to not be too bothered by the attacks.

It stood it's ground but was looking worse for wear. "Wait i think this Sunkern is a little lost!" Faye floated back to Faylinn, her purple flower spinning in the breeze. The Sunkern rolled over backwards as Faylinn approached it. "DEAR LORD!" Faylinn's hands shot to her face, she rummaged in her bag and took out a pokeball and tapped the pokemon with it. "Come now, let's get you to a pokemon center."

The pokeball snapped shut, it wiggled in her hands for a while and then exploded, the force of the pokemon exiting the pokeball managing to break the ball in half. "Well that was a waste." She stood up and glared at the Sunkern as it ran into the frozen shrubbery. "Faye what was all that?" She looked at her Flabebe that seemed preoccupied, just shrugging she landed on Faylinn's shoulder again.

They carried on further down the path. Here and there some bird pokemon were still flitting by, the most beautiful of which was a Swanna and a group of Ducklett spinning in the air. She was looking at them so intently she did not notice the pokemon in her way as she fell over it. 

"WHAT?!" She toppled forward and faceplanted on the frozen path, Faye did not take kindly to the pokemon tripping her friend, letting loose a barrage of Vine Whips this time the pokemon did not seem to take much notice of the grass type attack. Growlithe ran at Faye and narrowly missed hitting it with a bite attack, "Use Tackle Faye!" The small pokemon swung its flower around and headed straight for the Growlithe, knocking it square in the face with the tackle attack, the pollen seemed to have stunned the Growlithe for a second. "POKEBALL GO!" Faylinn chucked a ball at the pokemon, hoping that this time it will actually manage to catch the pokemon it was aimed at.

The pokeball snapped shut, as it had done before, and again it wiggled for a few moments and then exploded. FAylinn hung her shoulders in defeat as the pokemon scampered off into the shrubbery. "Well seems like we should stick to what we know." She pepped herself up as she walked down the path again. Faye floated over and snuggled up in the scar once again. Absentmindedly Faylinn started hitting buttons on her Xtranceiver, seeing what she can find out. A Pidove flitted down adn landed in the road, motioning her wing at the Faye that was almost resting int Faylinn's scarf. "You want to battle?" Faylinn was a little perplexed, the pokemon did seem adamant though, so Faye jumped out and landed on the floor.

The Pidove started vigorously flapping its wings. Kicking up snow in its gust attack. Faye flew back and hit the floor, helping herself up she had a determined look on her face. "USe Tackle!" Faye ran as fat as she could swinging her flower around to absorb the hit and struck the Pidove and sent it helter skelter into a snow bank, as quickly as it had landed it tried to get up, and flew away as quickly as possible. "GREAT JOB FAYE!" Faylinn jumped up and down applauding her pokemon.

Faye and Faylinn carried on further down the path, noticing the small pokemon was a little worse for wear Faylinn took a potion out of her bag. "Here let's fix you up." She smiled as she applied the potion to the pokemon.

Faye looked a lot better when the potion had been absorbed. She spun around lazily in the breeze with a happy glow. As she spun higher Faylinn didn't notice a Teddiursa rolling its pokeball towards her. The small bear pokemon tugged on the girl's jacket and held the pokeball for her to take. "OH MY!?" She bent down and snatched the small bear pokemon up. Scanning the pokeball with her Pokedex, she found that the pokemon had been abadnoned, pokeball and all. She cuddled it to her chest. "Well you are our newest friend." She beamed at the pokemon as Faye landed on her shoulder to see who the newcomer was. "Think we'll name him Ursa. This is Faye." She twirled with the pokemon in her arms. "Just what i needed after all of the flubs i had earlier." 

As she spun with the pokemon she trippped over a Natu and fell into a tree dislodging a Spinarak that was hiding under a branch. As the spider pokemon fell onto Faylinn's face she froze in terror. She lay there not able to react, Luckily Ursa took the Initiative and used Fury swipes, hitting the Spinarak Numerous times, while this was happening Faye was using Vine Whip on the Natu. Chasing the pokemon from the scene of the accident.

As she got up she dusted herself off, still having a grimace of fear on her face. "Well thank you two." She picked them up and carried on walking. Paying close attention to the ground this time.
