Lamprecht haven't been keeping track of the days or weeks since he left his father behind. He was honestly glad that he just kept walking. There was no way he was going to take over some company that didn't include him until now. Reaching the doors, he gave a sigh as he tried to forgot about his father for the time being an just press on. There was something more important going on right now and that required his full attention. Raising his hand, he knocked twice and waited a few moments. Removing his hat, he opened the door and slowly entered the lab.
It wasn't a bad looking place, not at all. Kind of neat looking actually. When a young woman approached him, Lunick had a feeling she was in charge of this place.
"I apologize if I interrupted anything but I was hoping to get a pokemon." Lunick said. "Do you have any fire pokemon?"

Hello, Hello!
As Professor Hickory approached the man who'd just entered her facility, she donned an amiable smile on her face. Oh, how she did enjoy seeing young researchers pass through her doors. "You're not interrupting a thing" she assured her visitor. "Let's go see if we can get you the starter Pokemon of your dreams."
Leading him over to a table, she reached underneath it and pulled out three Pokeballs Placing them in a row before her and the boy, she hoped he'd open his eyes long enough to see what his options were. "Let's see what we've got." She released the Pokemon and stepped back so that Lamprecht could take his time coming to a decision.

Lunick was glad he wasn't interrupting anything and when the pokeballs opened, he turned his attention to all of the pokemon. Pansear, Torkoal, and Slugma huh. Well that was a tricky choice. All were good fire pokemon no doubt there. Though...he wondered just what one was best. Slugma was too hot to touch though since it was lava but that wasn't too much of a downside. The Torkoal didn't seen to have any bad about it, a steady pokemon with a shell to defend it. The Pansear was just one out of two more of a similar name.
"I'll take the Pansear please." Lunick answered.
