I AM WHO I AM
Hadlee had left her house a while ago, and now found herself resting in the snow underneath a tree. It was obvious to any on looker that she was unprepared for the cold weather. In fact, a few might think that she appeared to be dead. Her light cardigan flapped in the wind as she slept, her light colored tights the only things around her legs other than her other clothing. She dug out a spot to rest earlier in the day, and after all that work she found it easy to just lay there and sleep.
A pile of snow was knocked off of a branch up above, and fell straight onto the girl's face, and she woke up with a start, cursing up a storm. She ripped herself from her not so comfortable patch of land and dusted the snow off out of her hair. "Stupid wind has to go by ruining my day," She muttered under her breath, her brow furrowed.
But how could she be too angry? Today she was going to get her first pokemon! No matter how much it snowed, no matter how much it hailed, no matter if it rained or stormed, Hadlee was going to get her pokemon. If it was the last thing she would do, she would get her first, greatest friend.
Now that she was up, she may as well continue walking. She walked through the town Calitha town, her eyes dead set on the building that stood at the end of her journey. Finally! She would finally get her pokemon!
She walked up to the door. She stood still for a second, her hand grasping the handle tightly as her eyes closed. This was it. She wouldn't be alone anymore. Someone would understand her, finally. She flung the door open and stepped inside. "Um, Professor Hickory? I am here to get my first pokemon, if that's alright," She said, knowing that the woman would certainly allow her. This was her job, after all, right?
