at most I'm sleeping all these demons away
His hand hesitated at the door knob, should he knock first? At the thought he lifts a fist up but pauses before it hits the door. Standing there for several long moments, with a stare that could set fire. Sasha turns himself around and takes several steps away from the building. One hand rubbing the back of his neck vigorously as he studied the clouds in the sky. It was nice out really, the sky was a soft blue. Hardly a cloud to be seen. The few that scattered the sky were a soft white resembling cotton that had been pulled apart.
It wasn’t time, he wasn’t ready for this. Nobody would know now if he just went off and kicked back someplace. It’s not like he wasn’t already running away so why not just keep running? Just disappear off into the world…
The sudden growling of his stomach interrupting the flow of his thoughts brought to mind a very good reason why he shouldn’t run off now. He was out of money, and had been for several days now. His last granola bar sat in his bag, hardly a meal and he’d picked it off some kid who was nice enough to share his lunch with him. He couldn’t even provide for himself like this. One of the best ways to make money in this world is by becoming a trainer, leaving him very little choice in the matter. So he took in a deep breath, puffing out his chest and let out a long heavy sigh.
It was time to get this over with. The movement this time as his hand reached for the door was quick and fluid. “Ah hello? I’m looking for a uh… Professor Hickory?”
