To the woods once more (Mod)

After stumbling a few times, he found himself facing a pidove who gave a squawk at him due to the loud noises he was making. Well they were out here to mainly practice, so it was time to see just how battling in this mess would go. Taking out Sear's pokeball, he released the fire type and they landed on the ground.

"Use scratch." Lunick told the fire type.

Sear darted forward, landing a blow with sharp claws against the bird. The pidove shook itself before spreading it's wings and using gust. Sending a whirl of wind at the fire type an landing the blow. Though Sear was still standing and doing fine.

"Another scratch." Lunick said, watching Sear take off.

The attack landed and the pidove jumped back, giving Sear a glare that was Leer. Lowering Sear's defenses. Lunick got himself unstuck and gave a relived sigh that was over for the time being. Course he'd still been paying attention to the battle at hand.

"You've got this Sear, use scratch." Lunick instructed.

Sear ran forward and the blow landed. THe pidove staggered a bit as it's health was getting low, though it used Leer once more. Lowering Sear's defenses again, Lunick told Sear to use scratch again. Sear charged forward and the attack landed, causing the pidove to faint.

Seeing the slakoth appear once more, Lunick gave a shrug. They were really here for training anyway, so why not? Taking out Bilbo's pokeball, the normal type was released and appeared before him. Even though Sear and Silver needed more training, he wanted to see what Bilbo could do. The normal type pokemon looked to Lunick for a moment before making a sound, giving a glance to the Slakoth.

"It's alright Bilbo, you got this." Lunick encouraged, giving the pokemon a kind smile.

Bilbo looked to the slakoth an stood ready. It was always best to give your pokemon encouragement when they seemed to be uncertain on something. The Slakoth just laid there lazy as ever, not giving a care to the fact a trainer was in front of him with it's pokemon.

"Use Tackle Bilbo." Lunick instructed.

Bilbo ran forward an rammed into the Slakoth, doing a good bit of damage due to level difference. The Slakoth used scratch, landing it's claws against Bilbo but not doing too much damage. Lunick instructed Bilbo to use tackle again, landing the blow against the fellow normal type. The slakoth just laid there though, loafing around further due to it's ability. Another tackle was unleashed on the lazy pokemon, landing the blow, it had fainted. Lunick picked the slakoth up an set it aside.

"See? I told you, you could do it." Lunick said with glee.
